Description:They moved to Colfax in Wilson's husband, Tom, is a Colfax native, and when they would come to Wisconsin for the holidays, Terri said she realized she wanted to raise her children here. Wilson's birth name is Thongsangoune Savayvongthong Souvanthong, but she switched to the American name "Terri" when she was in second grade. After a year, Wilson said she started looking for a location for a restaurant. Thai gets its distinct flavor from a combination of ginger, chili, Thai basil, herbs and fresh vegetables, all cooked with soy sauce. The windows facing Bridge Street are still covered, as the interior of the building is undergoing a major renovation.
