These are materials that will produce new fire retardant material in large volume when exposed to high temperatures or fire. The purpose of ACTIFIRE technology is to ensure that the materials used will produce such a large amount of fire retardant material that will fill up major deformations or displacements during a fire. As a result, the penetration will remain fire-tight.
