Description:Understanding the difference between fantasy and reality made all the difference for these people and the true stories they shared. They become engaged, and she flies to San Francisco to marry him. Sandy is the young, feisty, ambitious Chinese woman he finds online. To them, marriage must be a two-sided contract. At the end of his year search, he found Sandy, from Anhui, China, who was half his age. Finding myself caught in the middle of their tumultuous lives, I begin to see their complicated relationship from many different angles. The findings have implications in help-seeking promotion and outreach.
